I’ve just finished writing a poem about the wise men visiting Jesus and it’s going to be performed to 65ish people tomorrow! However, they are all under 5 which makes it a bit easier.
A friend of mine works at a nursery and they wanted someone from her church to come and tell them about Christmas. It’s quite hard to think of how to engage such little ones, tell them an accurate version of a well known story and make them think about God in a way that is appropriate for kids from all kinds of religious backgrounds.
Please pray that they’d see how exciting this is:
The wise men enter to see the new king
‘God as a baby; this is so amazing!’
They give Jesus their gifts and bow low to worship
They’ve travelled for years, but it was well worth the trip!
